UNIT 2 — THE PROCESS PARAGRAPH
Explanation

Introduction

There are two common types of process paragraphs:

  1. A paragraph that gives instructions for how to do something, for example, how to cook an egg.
  2. A paragraph that explains how something works or happens, for example, how a hurricane happens.

In this unit you will learn how to write both types of process paragraph by following a basic paragraph formula. By using this formula you will include the most important parts of a clear, organized paragraph.

By the end of this unit you will be able to:

  • describe a process
