WRITING TIPS
Write a First Draft

Drafting is where you can connect all your ideas and events and write the paragraph. Start by looking at your topic sentence and outline and start writing. Don't try to edit or revise at the same time you are writing your draft. It is often best to write the complete paragraph without stopping. Then you may want to revise it more than once.

When you have your first draft, read it aloud and listen to how it flows. Remember your first draft is temporary. It will be changed and improved with revision and editing.
