  1. Read the Words

I like movies about love. You know, movies where the man meets the woman, and they like each other, and they do things together. They get to know each other. Maybe they go out on dates. Then, you know, they have a fight and break up, and their hearts are broken! But then the man gives the woman flowers or something, and they make up. You know. They kiss, and everyone cries. Those are good movies. I like watching people fall in love.

My favourite movies are definitely action movies. Yeah, I like action. You know, I get bored if nothing’s happening in a movie. I like exciting movies, with car chases and car crashes. Gun fights are good, too. A movie’s got to have lots of fire and blood and stuff like that. It’s got to be fast and exciting. If it’s not fast and exciting, I don’t want to go!

I like funny movies. You know, life can be sad and difficult. Why go to sad movies, too? I go to movies to laugh and enjoy myself. Laughing feels good. After I’ve gone to a funny movie full of good jokes, and had a few good laughs, I have a smile on my face. I forget my troubles. That’s what I want from a movie. You know what they say: laughter is the best medicine.
