An adjective gives more information about a noun.

Dave has a red car. (adjective
= red)

Adjectives:
- give more information about nouns.
- give information about someone's opinion.
- give information about age.
- give information about colour.
- give information about size and measurement.
- give information about shape.
- give information about origin.
- give information about characteristics.
- give information about what something is made of.
- do not change form for plural nouns.
- go before the nouns they describe.
- follow the verbs "to be", "to feel", "to
taste", "to smell", "to look", and "to
sound".
- can show possession.
- follow the verb "to get" to show a change to the adjective.
- are participial when "-ing" or "-ed" is
added to a verb and it is used as an adjective.
