Conversation — Part 1


In this conversation you will hear Marlene and Peter talking about their trips. You will hear information questions, the past simple tense, the past continuous tense, and compound sentences. Marlene and Peter are at the airport waiting for their flight.

Marlene: Is this the beginning or the end of your trip?

  Peter: It is the end of my trip. I was visiting friends. Were you on vacation as well?  

Marlene: No, I came here on business.
